Diamond and her pups Peridot, Beryl, Lapis, Amethyst, Coral, and Garnet were surrendered by their owner in Texas to a partner rescue. They have never been contained properly and the previous litters Diamond had were all run over by cars. Diamond arrived to her Maryland foster on May 22nd. Mama Diamond arrived on Sunday, 5/22 and is in MD now decompressing, we are getting to know her and she is doing great. She has a perpetual sad face, but she is a very happy and sweet girl. She hasn't had any accident inside the house, she is house trained. She knows how to go up and down the stairs. She loves going on walks and walks perfectly on her leash. Diamond sleeps in her create the entire night and waits patiently til I let her out in the morning. We haven't heard her barking. She is very friendly with kids, women, and men. While walking, she has met some dogs, she does great, but seems to like playful males more... We are already in love with her, she is indeed a dream dog. Mama Didi, as we call her, loves belly rubs 24/7. She is also the best working partner, kisser, and walking buddy. She loves to be hugged and snuggled. Beautiful and perfect Diamond is available for adoption. Update 5/30/2022 Diamond met both of resident dogs and she loves them and they love her as well. She enjoys playing with water, hiking, toys, and cheese. She wants to be where her FoMom and FoSiblings are. She is the sweetest dog ever!
