SSR Raffle Disclaimer/Restrictions

YETI Tundra 45 “Cooler & More” Raffle

Shenandoah Shepherd Rescue (SSR) YETI Tundra 45 “Cooler & More” Raffle to benefit the dogs of Shenandoah Shepherd Rescue is conducted by Shenandoah Shepherd Rescue, a non-profit organization under the laws of Virginia.

1.         One raffle ticket may be claimed for each $5.00 donation, or 3 for every $20.00 donation. An indefinite amount of raffle tickets will be sold. Individuals obtaining raffle tickets certify that they are 21 years of age or older.

2.         Ticket entries can be claimed from an SSR Board Member, SSR employee/agent or an SSR Volunteer.

3.         Tickets may be claimed following an SSR Donation via cash, credit, and PayPal. Entrant will also be subject to all associated bank fees.

4.         All donations are final and non-refundable.

5.         Entrant will retain the original printed raffle ticket. The stub will be entered into the drawing and will be retained by SSR.

6.         All unsold tickets and proceeds from the raffle ticket sales must be received by SSR no later than 9:00 p.m. EST Friday, June 3, 2022. If received after the official deadline, all monies will be returned to Entrant(s) and all associated tickets will be invalid. Additional tickets may be purchased through SSR at Broken Window Brewing Company’s 4th Anniversary Block Party until 5:00 p.m. on the drawing date, June 4, 2022.

7.         The winner of the raffle will be determined by random drawing selected from all entries and all entries have an equal chance of winning. The drawing will take place on Saturday, June 4 , 2022 at approximately 5:00 p.m. EST at Broken Window Brewing Company, 14 W Boscawen Street, Winchester, Virginia, 22601. This information will also be announced on the Non-Profit’s website at www.shenandoahrescue.org. Entrant(s) need to be 21 years or older to claim the prize and must show a valid ID to confirm.

8.         The drawn winner of the raffle is entitled to receive a YETI Tundra 45 cooler and bottles of alcohol valued at approximately $910.00 USD. SSR, Broken Window Brewing Company, and PenFed Credit Union specifically disclaim all expressed or implied warranties, including without limitations warranties of merchantability. SSR, Broken Window Brewing Company, and PenFed Credit Union are not responsible for any losses or injuries suffered as a result of the raffle prize.

9.         The winner of the raffle must claim the prize within 30 minutes of the drawing. If the winner does not claim the prize within 30 minutes of the drawing, by responding to telephonic notice from SSR or otherwise, the prize will be forfeited. After the prize is claimed, winner must physically accept the prize within 48 hours. After the prize is accepted, winner must abide by any restrictions placed on voucher by the issuing donor (e.g. expiration date for use).

10.       Recipients of raffle tickets must legibly write their full names and telephone numbers on each individual ticket stub. In the event of a digital raffle via PayPal donation, the recipients must include their names, telephone numbers, and forward their donation receipt to a member of SSR to claim their raffle tickets. If more than one name stated on a ticket stub, the first listed name shall be the Entrant. SSR shall, will and can have no obligation for payment or delivery of any prize to any person other than the Entrant. It is the sole responsibility of the entrant to allocate any such prize among the participants in any multiple party entry.

11.       Any drawing may be postponed due to weather or any state of emergency declared by the Mayor of Winchester, The Governor of Virginia, or the President of the United States. In such event, a new date, place and time for the drawing will be determined by SSR, which will be announced on SSR’s website.

12.       Recipients of tickets, by participating in the raffle, release SSR, Broken Window Brewing Company, and PenFed Credit Union, its directors, officers, members and agents from any and all liability, loss or claim arising out of any raffle prize, expressly waive any such claim and agree that the liability, if any, of the SSR, Broken Window Brewing Company, and PenFed Credit Union, its directors, officers, members and agents shall be limited to the raffle ticket price paid. SSR, Broken Window Brewing Company, and PenFed Credit Union makes no express or implied warranty as to the Raffle prize.

13.       Any and all disputes, claims and controversies concerning this raffle shall be submitted to and resolved by binding arbitration, to be conducted under arbitration rules in the state of Virginia.

14.       Prize is not redeemable for cash.

15.       Raffle is void where prohibited.

16.       Winner(s) agree to allow SSR and Broken Window Brewing Company to publish their photographs on the SSR’s website and social media pages, including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and others.

17.       The YETI Tundra 45 “Cooler & More” Raffle hosted by Shenandoah Shepherd Rescue is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Facebook.

“Wagon + Cheer” Raffle

Shenandoah Shepherd Rescue (SSR) “Wagon + Cheer” Raffle to benefit the dogs of Shenandoah Shepherd Rescue is conducted by Shenandoah Shepherd Rescue, a non-profit organization under the laws of Virginia.
