SSR Avery was rescued from an rural shelter in Texas. She was scheduled to be euthanized right before SSR saved her and transported her to Virginia. Shortly after arriving, some volunteers noticed that she was getting large in the belly. After a quick visit to the vet, it was confirmed that she was pregnant. Dyson is one of her 10 puppies who was born on May 12th, 2023. The ten puppies are: Lilly, Gerald, Arwen, Hermy, Sophie, Legolas, Dyson, Dobby, Basil, and Darbie Dyson is a sweet girl who is a little shy and timid when she first meets you but she warms up quickly. She loves to get belly rubs and is learning she doesn't need her litter mates and her momma to protect her. She has a lot of love to give and is anxious to get her very own forever home.
