Spike was found roaming rural Texas with six other dogs that were also rescued. He is such a gentle sweetheart that is eager to please and ready for all the affection! He has short bursts of energy that go hand in hand with his goofiness! He enjoys going on relaxed strolls and walks very nicely on leash by your side! He will chase a ball but then lay in the grass with it and soak up the sun and smell the wind! He knows to go potty outside and we are currently working on crate training and his basic obedience to build some confidence. He is also extremely gentle taking treats from your hand. He hasn’t been tested around cats, but seems to have a low prey drive! He was around other dogs in boarding and gets along with his Belgian Malinois foster sister. He is unphased by our 8 month old baby and is so gentle around him. He also loves meeting new people! He is neutered, heartworm negative, and UTD on his shots. This boy would be a great family dog and would love to be the center of attention or in a pack that he can have some play time with then snuggle up and kick back to take it easy! He will need continued training with a professional trainer to continue his obedience work.
