, Jonas was found on a rural road in Texas with a few other dogs. He arrived to his foster home on transport last weekend, and is doing very well in his new surroundings.
Jonas is sweetness personified. He will lay quietly in your arms to snuggle and gives the sweetest puppy kisses! His other favorite activities include stealing your shoes, wrestling (complete with adorable puppy growls), stealing your shoes, eating, stealing your shoes, chasing other puppies around the yard, playing with squeaky toys, and stealing your shoes.
Jonas is about three months old, is not yet house broken (but working on it!), and doesn’t get the whole point of a leash. He is the perfect age to begin training, which will make him more perfect than he already is. He gets on fabulously with his puppy foster siblings and the resident GSD, and is becoming less energetic around the kitty. He currently weighs about 20 lbs. He does show a tendency to resource guard if the other puppies try to encroach on his food bowl (understandable given his background) but that is something he may (or may not) grow out of as he experiences a steady supply of food.
