Fern is a sweet dog that has liked every dog she has been introduced to and she does not pay too much attention to cats. She has her goofy moments and loves to give kisses. She will be spayed in April and then will be ready for adoption. Fern is heartworm positive, but all treatment will be paid by SSR. Update: Fern gave birth to 7 live puppies on Feb 8th & 9th Fern was rescued from a shelter in Texas after she was removed from her owners, along with her companion Finn. We also believe Finn to be the father to the puppies of Fern and Faye. Fern is heavily pregnant and will give birth at any time. She will not be available to be adopted until after she has her puppies and they are weaned, however she will be available for meet & greets. She has mange that is being treated and is heart worm positive, which will be treated by SSR after she has had her puppies.
