Update 2/10: Happy THREE WEEK SSR’aversary Faye Faye!! Hard to imagine three weeks ago, we were meeting in the shelter parking lot to pickup Faye and transport to the Emergency Vet, hoping and praying she would live through the night! Faye is making BIG MOVES This evening. She “walked” all the way across the house to the bedroom to help with laundry!! She whines at us when we leave the room without her.. and then gets fed up with our slow response to her and follows us. She’s becoming an independent little stink right before our eyes! we haven’t worn a diaper since Thursday night!! NO ACCIDENTS! Needless to say, we are in love. Update 1/29: Faye has miscarried her puppies, but has feeling and is starting to use her legs! Faye was found on the side of the road in Texas. She was paralyzed, emaciated, and to top it all off, pregnant. Once she is healthy, she will make her way to the Virginia area.
