Hi, I'm Lilo. I'm a spunky 8 month old shepherd/chow/collie mix (we think). I can't tell you much about breeds but I do know that I love going on car rides and that I'll be your best walking buddy.
I am still learning to not jump up on people because I am a big hugger and a cuddle-bug. My favorite things are to chew on fish sticks, sweet potato snacks and going for drive thru runs (my favorite order so far is the "puppicino" at Starbucks). I'm told too much isn't good for me but I say life is too short to not enjoy puppicinos whenever you get the chance.
There are cats in my foster home and though I don't have the best impulse control (I love to give chase). I mean well and just want to be friends if I get lucky enough to get close! I love all people but my foster mom says to watch close when I'm around little kids who are learning boundaries since I can be mouthy in play.
I love toys, fetch and tug of war. I also love water (you will see me at my happiest when I am playing around a lake and get my paws wet). I am mostly a good girl during bath time, I like to stay in the corner and close my eyes until it's over- I think baths are overrated.
I'm longing for a person to call my own. I prefer being with another friendly dog pal as I am my best self when I am with friends but for the right active family that has dog friends I may make exceptions. I am being fostered in Fairfax/Oakton, VA.
