Benny is thriving and no longer JUST surviving. He was found as a stray in Texas with his pal Buttons (do not need to be adopted together). He had a hard mass in his chin that ended up being an infection in his jawbone. He is currently on antibiotics to treat it and is healing wonderfully with no impact to his ability to eat or enjoy his life thus far. He does great with all the other resident dogs and would definitely be happiest in a home with another dog to play with as he truly enjoys the companionship. He does have some scarring on his back left leg; vet suspects a fracture or other injury that was not treated and just healed on its own. He does experience a little weakness in that leg as well but it doesn’t slow him down or stop him from frolicking in the yard or getting around whatsoever.
