Dog Name: Ms. Araminta (means “defender, lion” in Spanish) Araminta is currently working on living life inside of a house. She is very timid but has a bark that can seem forceful. She is truly very loving to her person once you gain her trust. Araminta and her mom, Artemesia, were rescued from a high kill shelter in Texas after months of being placed there. She should not be placed with small dogs or cats. Araminta arrived in Virginia on April 29th. Check back soon for updates!
