Brian is an active guy and even at 5 weeks, very independent. He likes exploring and following his nose where ever that takes him (in the back yard). He has lots of personality and he will let you know if he thinks he is being ignored. He has learned to howl... which sounds a bit like a rooster and has lots of "opinions". If his personality continues, I expect Brian will be a loving but strong-willed dog, who will do well with a confident owner who can train him, and won't let him run the show. I see him being a great hiking partner and I expect he will be a dog who loves his outdoor time as much as his cuddle time. Whilhelmina, Minerva, Sybil, Aurora, Pomona, Wulfric, Brian, Albus, and Percival were all rescued from a high kill shelter in Texas. They arrived to their Virginia area fosters on January 29th, but cannot be adopted until they are at least 8weeks of age.
