Guinevere, Thora, Nesta, Isis (Kali), Eris, Danika, Ozul, and Brander were born to Royse after she was rescued from a kill shelter in Texas. Just in time too, because a few days later she gave birth to 8 puppies. Sadly, one perished, but her other seven are doing well. They will be available for adoption after they are weaned. Guinevere arrived to her Virginia foster on May 29th. Guinevere has made her way to VA. She is adorable, 100 percent puppy. These little puppies will need everything from their new people, food, water, training and LOT'S of exercise. Baby shepherds and Belgium Mals need mental and physical stimulation, not a suggestion, they crave it. We have been playing outside very well with 2 adult shepherds,she love chasing balls and just chasing me around the yard. She slept really good last night, we had a long play time.She can climb out of her puppy pen and take off! We don't have cats or children, I'm sure she will be fine either.This puppy will be big very quickly so parents keep in mind little ones could get knocked over and stepped on.Both puppies are eating and drinking lot's of water and doing all their business outside, not house trained.look for Guinvere on Shenandoah Shepherd Facebook community page for recent photos and updates.
