*Tony is part of a bonded pair with Ziva* Who is ready for a sweet, cuddly older guy? Meet Tony! He and Ziva recently came up from Texas and are currently with their foster learning how to dog. Tony is a 10-year-old shepherd mix with a good energy level and perfect sunny disposition! Tony does great with Ziva but can be a bit hit or miss with other dogs. He would likely be fine with more submissive dogs. He loves every person he meets. Sadly he doesn’t do well with cats. Tony loves hanging out with Ziva and getting lots of love from the humans! We are not sure either Tony or Ziva have every really had a loving home before since they seem baffled by normal home-like things. Each day Tony grows more confident and is learning this home life is actually pretty sweet! His foster is currently addressing a few marking incidents. Tony’s days consist of outside potty breaks, food time, playing in the yard, chilling while waiting on foster mom to come home, and then repeating the cycle all over again! In the evening he loves to snuggle with foster mom and get all the love he has missed over the years! Tony is doing better in his crate at night and during the day when foster mom is at work. (The treats he gets for going in are his favorite part!) He does well in a car. He doesn’t need a ton of exercise every day, but loves going outside for a walk, playing in the yard, or meandering with Ziva and his human. The perfect family for Tony and Ziva would be a lower energy household and someone who wants to spend time showing these two all the love they have missed! Ziva and Tony are being fostered in Christiansburg, VA and taking applications!
