Sara and her 8 tiny puppies were surrendered to SSR in Texas, where they were neglected and forced to live outside. They all came to Virginia after the puppies were weaned in early March. Now that her mom duties are done, Sara is looking forward to enjoying the carefree, comfortable life she deserves! Here's what we know about her so far:

• SUPER sweet to every living being
• Runs fast and leaps like a deer, and loves to be chased
• Loves catching tennis balls and chewing elk antlers
• Totally ignores cats!
• Great in the car
• Great in the bath
• Great in the crate as long as people and/or dogs are around. Sara is anxious if she's totally alone. She'll do best a home with another dog for company when her people area away, and/or where she will rarely be by herself.
• Sara is so enthusiastic with her affection that she likes to jump and climb on people for hugs and pets, but that will improve with training.

Sara is full of love and can't wait to share it with her forever family. Please consider opening your home and your heart to this beautiful young girl!
