Tauri, Wiyot, Tokala, Aponi, Tiva, Elu, Tayen, and Halona are the puppies which were surrendered by their owner along with their mother Sara.  They are arrived to their Virgina area fosters on March 6th.

Tayen is fairly timid at first. Once she does warm up she is a super sweetheart. She does have a normal amount puppy energy and will get the zoomies occasionally. She will play with her foster's 60 lb resident dog but it did take a couple days to warm up. However once she warmed up to the resident dog she latched to his side and doesn't stray far from him. I think Tayen would benefit from having another dog in the house- it seems to give her a little bit more confidence. Tayen has been introduced to cats, chickens, small and large dogs, and small children. She is pretty cautious when it comes to new introductions, but not very reactive. Tayen will go up and down stairs. She knows how to sit.  We're making progress with potty training, fewer accidents each day. Once she gets her energy out she is absolutely content just to curl up by her person.
