Shenandoah Shepherd Rescue no longer takes donations for specific dogs

Although we no longer take donations for specific dogs, all donations made help and are very welcomed.

You can make a donation in the following ways:

We have many dogs that have special needs and/or expensive veterinary bills.  Some dogs have to be boarded to get them out of danger until a foster can be found.  Many go through heartworm treatment, which is also expensive.  Most dogs come to us with parasites, mange, infections, or injuries.  Our adoption fees rarely cover the cost of healing their bodies and bringing them up-to-date on vaccinations, as well as spaying/neutering, if needed.  We can only continue to help these dogs as long as we can pay their expenses.
