Come to ask questions about our process, purchase SSR merchandise, and of course, love on some dogs! Potential dog adoptions will only take place with pre-approved adopters, but all are always welcome to come and meet the dogs. Come meet the adoptable dogs of SSR at Broken Window Brewing on April 22 from noon-6PM! This outdoor event will include beer & mimosas for purchase, and lots of SSR dogs looking for their new forever home. We'll be on Boscawen St. in front of Broken Window Brewing Company (14 W. Come join the volunteers of SSR and their foster dogs at Barrel Oak Winery in Delaplane, VA.
Come to Barrel Oak Winery for wine tasting and support SSR. Stop by our booth at the winery (3623 Grove Ln, Delaplane, VA) and we'll give you a ticket to turn in when purchasing a tasting. Half of the proceeds will then be donated back to SSR.
You can ask questions about our process, purchase SSR merchandise, and of course, love on some dogs! Potential dog adoptions will only take place with pre-approved adopters, but all are always welcome to come and meet the dogs.

Bark in the Park - Frederick, MD Saturday May 13th, 2023 10:00 AM until 02:00 PM Location: Ballenger Creek Dog Park Map: 5420 Ballenger Creek Pike Frederick MD 21703 See all of the animals attending this event. Enjoy the day with your furry, four-legged friend at the Frederick County Parks and Recreation annual Bark in the Park. Your pooch will have an opportunity to run free in one of our off-leash areas, test and sharpen his or her skills on the agility course and make new friends. Bark in the Park also provides great opportunities for families to adopt a dog, sample dog related products, and visit exhibit booths. Dog owners must bring a collar, leash, and proof of rabies vaccination for entry. Limit two dogs per owner. This is a walk-in event. No advanced registration available. Hosted by Braddock District Supervisor James Walkinshaw in partnership with Celebrate Fairfax, Braddock Bark is a free event that brings the community together to celebrate the love that we have for our pets. Join SSR volunteers for something fun, BINGO! Harpers Ferry Brewing (27412 Adventure Center Lane, Purcellville, VA) will have bingo at their location from 6pm to 8pm and proceeds go to SSR. Come have some brews, enjoy the beautiful views, and play BINGO, too, to help SSR.
