Update- Eclipse has settled in well and has an appointment for her spay. She initially showed no interest in the farm animals, however, she is now showing some prey drive toward the chickens as they exibit prey behavior and seems to want to play with the goats as they run around. She is however, really good and respectful with the household cats. Eclipse would do best with someone experienced with GSD/Malinois breeds as she has the energy, intelligence and drive of a working dog. She needs more reinforcement in potty training and general obedience and would do well with more extensive training. She is a good girl, but has a lot of work drive and is very strong and dominant. She is treat motivated and loves affection and toys. Eclipse is in VA! She is a real sweetheart. She is affectionate, smart and very energetic. She is not reactive to the household cats, showing no interest. Nor does she show any interest in the farm animals. Eclipse is crate trained and knows some basic commands and walks fairly well on lead. She is very submissive. Eclipse is still a little skittish as she has just come off of transport and is in a whole new place after being in TX foster for a while. But, she is adjusting quickly to the new environment and more temperate weather. She likes to run and swim. She likes toys and does not destroy them but hides them in her crate. Eclipse is showing den protectiveness by growling at the other dogs if they approach her crate while she is inside, but she is fine playing with everyone in the yard and on walks. She will need to be spayed before adoption.
