Yay! Sawyer was saved! With a 1 PM deadline on his life, a TX angel fly in and rescued him. Sawyer is currently with a TX foster. He made himself right to home by going through the house and trying out all the beds! His foster says he is truly the sweetest, most gentle soul and just loves to be loved. The following morning he went out for his potty break and decided to take his foster for a walk. She could see the pep in his step after a restful night's sleep. His is a smart guy and learning the routine fast. After much coaxing and many treats, he finally got his bath. He loves to sit out in the backyard at night and relax with his foster family. Sawyer is not a fan of his crate but he will go in with barely a grumble. If you are looking for an older, gentle, loving and handsome guy, Sawyer is the dog for you!
