Roe 3072 is an adorably fluffy aussie/shepherd mix that’s looking for his forever family.
Picked up as a stray in south Texas, Roe spent several anxious months in a shelter. He’s 1 year old and still a pup with lots of energy and some puppy manners that his doggy foster brothers are helping him with.
Roe is a total clown with silly playful antics. He loves all toys, is learning fetch and basic obedience. He can be shy with new people but quickly warms up to his snuggle bug self.
He walks well on a leash and is quiet in his crate aside from some initial whining. Roe loves kids but might be too exuberant for younger ones. Roe has strong herding instincts and wants to chase birds, squirrels, and blowing leaves so a fenced yard would be ideal for him. If not, then be prepared for some long walks or hikes to get his energy out. Roe does want to chase my cat. If you have space and can slowly introduce Roe, he should be able to coexist with a dog savvy cat. He would do best with an active, puppy-tolerant doggy companion, or can be a solo dog in an active family.
