SSR rescued Woody from a TX high kill shelter.He is now safe, enjoying life and learning to be the best boy with his foster in WV. Woody would love life more if he could find his forever family! He is such a handsome, friendly, outgoing, smart, and a lil goofy fella! He loves attention, squeaky balls, and is obsessed with his toys. He is food motivated and takes treats nicely. This handsome fella is a-ok around cats, showing no interest in them at all. The dogs he is living with are older and they find Woody can be a bit overwhelming with his energy sometimes. Woody has met older children 10+ and he just adores them, he's probably a bit too bouncy for the littles. Sir Woody would excel at a variety of dog sport activities. He is so smart and willing to please, knowing commands "sit" ,"leave it", and "lay down". Handsome Woody is up to date on vaccinations, neutered, heartworm negative, housebroken, and crate trained. Woody will likely bond strongly with his family and keep a lookout, making a great watch dog! He would do well with a large dog of similar energy to play with. He'd probably be fine as an only dog with an active family, so he gets the exercise he needs. Woody loves to run, so a fenced yard is preferable.
