This beautiful boy was saved and got the care he needed to live by SSR, after being hit by a vehicle and left to die. He underwent surgery for multiple pelvic fractures in January and is healing well. It is recommended to have a follow-up vet appointment to ensure Hartley has healed. Hartley is such a gentle, handsome, goofy soul with a heart of gold. He is heartworm negative, up to date on shots, housebroken, neutered, crate trained, walks great on the leash, ok with dog savvy cats, loves dogs of all sizes, and loves to be loved. He's a bit unsure at times, but a gentle talk will get him thru. He is a easy boy to handle and listens to correction well. Hartley is a very good boy wanting a quiet home. If you need a daily laugh and lovins', Hartley will gladly be there for you. Just give him time and a gentle routine and he will give you joy and entertainment. Hartley recently sought out the attention of a 4 year old child amongst adults. His gentle calm nature could be perfect for the right child's best friend. Hartley is good around medical equipment--wheelchairs/walker. He is currently being fostered in MD. More updates to come.
