At only a year old, Asami was found roaming the streets of Cleveland, TX. After a month of feeding her, she was successfully trapped and brought into SSR. Despite her initial timid nature, Asami has become a loving and gentle dog in her foster home. Initially abandoned in a desolate area, Asami was discovered with two puppies, but they were no longer with her when she was rescued. It took some time for her to feel comfortable and safe in her foster home, where she has now thrived. Asami is a medium-energy dog that gets along well with other dogs and young children. She is currently learning recall and has shown an interest in being active. Due to her past experiences, Asami is a bit fearful of car rides, but she adapts well.
