7-2-23 Update on Mia. This little girl will steal your heart and never give it back. She had been the perfect house guest. She is crate trained but hates it. The only time she will go in it is during breakfast and supper time. She sleeps in our room at night either on the bed or carpeted floor. She will need slow intros to dogs. Decompressing time for her is a must. Once she figures out they won't hurt her she will love them. And annoy them with her puppy biting. She is learning basic obedience and doing amazing. She doesn't mind baths or her nails being trimmed. Scared of the vacuum and will hide. She loves all adults and kids. She wants to play with cats but also is afraid of them if they hiss or growl at her. She has gotten her booper smacked alot. Housebroken and loves treats and toys. Mia will make you laugh with her zoomies and hopping like a deer when she sees her food bowl. She is a counter surfer but a firm no or clap your hands she stops. Reach out to your caseworker if you would love to meet her. Mia has made it to Va. A little about her she is so sweet. Mouthy and likes to use my hands and arms as a chew toy. She is a puppy and needs to learn some manners. She is very treat motivated and is learning how to live in a house. She hates her crate. But we are working on that. She will go in for a treat and sleeps all night. She is Housebroken but I take her outside every 2 hours just to make sure. So far no accidents. Loves toys and shoes and socks. She is spayed and ready to find her forever home. Mia was found as a stray on a rural road in Texas. She is in Virginia and available for adoption.
