Meet Aelin, she is a young, sweet and gentle female husky. It appears as if she has had
puppies in the past, but her days of motherhood are over and now she gets to be the center of
attention. She is currently being fostered in a home with 3 dogs and 4 cats. She loves having
other dogs to play with and runs and wrestles with them all day. If the two boy dogs get too
rough (as they are known to do) she is quick to set boundaries. She does it in an appropriate
manner and my boys will stop their rough play. There are 4 cats in my home and she doesn’t
pay too much attention to them. She has shown no prey drive towards them and does not
chase them, unless one of the other dogs does, then she joins in. She has made no attempt to
harm the cats, it is all in good fun. She has done well with my female GSD, though they have
had a couple of minor disagreements. Aelin wants to be the dominant female, and Sadie is
fine with that for the most part, but they have had a squabble or 2 over their nightly chew
treats. There has been no blood shed, but I would monitor her closely with other female dogs
especially if there are chew treats or toys around.

Aelin is very smart and learned sit super quick. House training is going well and she does well
in the crate, but when you come home she will let you know she wants out. She is a husky and
not that she is comfortable in my home she is getting vocal. She has no problem back talking
you, when you correct her. She cracks me up. Aelin is a counter suffer, so don’t leave food out
on the counter. So far that is her biggest issue.

Aelin’s injuries are healed and you can barely see the scars now. She does have a bit of a limp
after she has been laying for a while. She quickly works out the kink and is off running with the
big dogs, with no sign of a limp. Aelin has come a long way since she came to me, her
bleached, dry coat has almost been completely replaced by her true liver color and it is much
softer. Aelin is going to make some lucky person a great companion.
