Learn more about the German Shepherd Dog.
Sunnie has just arrived at her foster home in PA, where she is settling in well. She us more reserved and timid upon initial meets, but is extremely affectionate once she comes out of her shell and opens up. Sunnie would greatly benefit from another large, playful dog in her forever home. She would be a great selection for a potential adopter searching for a playmate for a current dog. She is still somewhat reactive to the cats in her foster home when they move too quickly, but she does ignore/correct when they are just sitting nearby. Sunnie needs to work on basic training, but seems to be very intelligent and easy to train. She learned 'sit' within a day, and willingly goes in her crate (though she does not know the command yet). She does pull on leash, but corrects and will be easy to train. Housetrained is TBD, but she has had no accidents in her crate.
