Hi! I’m Kennedy! I’m almost 4 months old female puppy that LOVES to cuddle! I was originally found with my mom and six siblings roaming the streets of a neighborhood in the Rio Grande Valley of Texas, but I was rescued and have been with my foster family since early May 2023.

Some of the things people have said about me:

• 12-yo Foster Boy: “Can we keep her, she is sooooooo sweet!?!?!”
• Fellow SSR Volunteer: “OMG, this tan puppy is so adorable, how do you not have multiple families interested in her??”
• Friend of Foster Family: “OMG she is the sweetest thing, and she still smells like a puppy…can I just take her home with me?!?”

Everyone that meets me falls in love, but I’m so sad I haven’t found my forever family yet.  In the interim, I do get lots of love from my foster family.

• I am learning to “wait” for my bowl to be on the ground during mealtime.
• I am learning to ring the bells at the back door when I have to potty.
• I can make it most nights without an accident in my pen. 
• I am very quiet in my pen, at night, during the day or just for naps when I’m tired.
• I am getting stronger and with a running start can leap up onto the couch into my humans’ arms and laps, giving lots of kisses!
• I may not be the best on a leash yet, but I’ve been out enjoying the beautiful weather and love to romp and play in the yard with my other foster siblings and resident dogs. 
• I love to play and cuddle with the other dogs in my foster mom’s house.
• My ears are doing some funky things, aka: GSD “under construction.”

Once you meet this sweet girl and pick her up in your arms, you’ll understand why everyone that meets her falls in love!
