This little pocket pal shepherd girl is around 4 years old, 45 pounds, and full of sugar, spice and everything nice!!
She has been in physical therapy for three months at a Texas vet after surgery from injuries sustained from being hit by a car
but now she is ready for a foster or her forever home with just maintenance PT and continued short walks for building strength and mobility.From visiting her today, she gets around pretty well with some hip sling assistance, and takes breaks when she needs to. She did well in the car and seems to enjoy car riding very much. Aloof or curious with people strangers, and was nonreactive to dogs seen while out. She will likely have some classic female shepherd sass when she is back to feeling at 100% and finishes decompression - basic structure and discipline with routine will be important and great for her.
Turkey loves food and string cheese bits, SUPER gentle and adorable treat taker, and is an object nibbler, so guard your water bottle caps, pup cups, probably seatbelts and other object materials, but she is happy to gnaw on an antler or other appropriate object if given to her
This girlie is another SSR gem just in need of a *pinch* of polish and finishing school, and she'll thrive as a lovely companion and small fry sidekick
