Roshan is a fun loving boy that wants nothing more than to be next to you. His ideal home is somewhere he can get a lot of love, attention, structure, and 1:1 training time. He is heartworm positive and will be treated at SSR's expense. He has to limit exercise until he tests negative which means he is allowed short walks and indoor play but must refrain from strenuous exercise like freely running with other dogs, fetch, long hikes, ect. Daily obedience training and other brain games are good ways to help wear him out mentally. Since he currently needs to limit exercise it would likely be easier if he were an only dog until he tests negative for HW but it is possible to do this in a multi dog household. He has done well in foster homes with other dogs and prefers slow intros which include pack walks, crate and rotate, and supervised play time as he builds trust. Ro is well behaved on walks and during bathing/grooming time. He has separation anxiety and can be vocal in his crate when you leave the house. While on leash he is gentle taking treats from kids and letting them pet his head but off leash can be playfully jumpy and mouthy.
