Scooter, also known as Stumpford, Stumps, Stumpyboy and his personal favorite, Sir Stumps-a-lot, is the sweetest boy there ever was! His favorite thing to do is 'show you his feet' and gently lift his front legs up into your arms or lap. It is the actual cutest thing in the world if you ask his foster mom. Scooter is dog friendly, crate trained, potty trained and even LOVES cats! It is safe to say that he is thoroughly obsessed with his foster moms cats. He is a timid boy but is coming out of his shell more and more each day and really starting to show his playful side with his foster humans and dog foster bros. He is happiest snuggled up in your lap but enjoys hanging out in the yard as well. He is quite the sunbather. EVERYONE WHO MEETS HIM FALLS IMMEDIATELY IN LOVE WITH THIS GENTLE SOUL! UPDATE: Scooter is now officially a tripod! He had his front left leg amputated and can use his front right leg just about normal! He can even go up and down small flights of stairs with no issue! To his foster parents surprise, he even goes up the big set of stairs to go to bed at night WITHOUT ANY HELP!! He has not quite yet mastered coming back down on his own but he is working on it! He gets around amazingly as a 3 legged pup so please don't let this deter you from checking out this handsome fella! If you are looking for a super sweet and snuggly pup he is your guy! Scooter was rescued right before he was set to be euthanized due to a mangled front left paw. Both of his front legs were injured, but the front left had a severe wound on the paw and was extremely swollen. He will be treated by SSR prior to being available for adoption and is currently being fostered in Camden, Delaware.
