Update 12-21-22 Kanzo has made it to Va. This boy is the sweetest thing ever. He loves to lean into your body for love and affection. He will climb into your lap and stay there forever if he could. So far he likes going into his crate if my grandkids are being loud. He loves kids and is so gentle with them. He has had a couple accidents in my house. But I think it is because he is marking. I have 2 males of my own and sometimes they like to mark. I will be working on that. He does great on a leash. He takes treats very gentle. He has met my dogs and has done really well with them. If you would like to meet him please reach out to your caseworker or apply to adopt. Kanzo was rescued from a high kill shelter in Texas. He had a protruding eye which was tended to and is heartworm positive, which will be treated at SSR's expense. He arrived in Virginia on December 16th - stay tuned for updates!
