CURRENTLY STUCK IN TEXAS BOARDING - NEEDS A FOSTER ASAP! Astra was rescued from a high kill shelter in Texas. Little is known about her at this time, but as usual, she seems very sweet! Astra arrived at her foster home in Md. on 11/18/22. She is very sweet. Loves people of all ages thus far, based on a trip to Tractor Supply store for a much-needed bath after transport. Gives kisses if you get close enough. It's her first day and she has pottied outside with regular trips out. She does not give indication that she needs to go outside. She has to be coaxed out of her crate and is hesitant but looks to the human for guidance. Thus far she is getting along well with the resident cat. There have been a few random brief growls with my resident dogs, but nothing concerning--just part of the introductory period. Astra has the cutest little bounce when she is excited (see the video). She is spayed. Heartworm test is listed as occult, meaning borderline positive. She is receiving Simparica Trio monthly. I will update as I continue to enjoy this sweet pup.
