Livy was transferred from a partner rescue in Texas to SSR. She arrived to me, in Virginia, on July 9th. She is the biggest sweetheart and wants all the love and attention. Livy has never met a stranger and will come up to anyone offering pets. Livy is a spayed female and heart-worm negative! Livy’s age is a bit of a mystery to us. Some of her vet records say she is three years old, while others say she is under 1.5 years old. I think she is closer to 1.5 years because she still has some puppy tendencies. When Livy is in a playful mood, she likes to nibble at your hand. She also likes to jump up and use her paws to get your attention. Both quarks can be easily managed with some training. She responds and listens well to commands. She does well in her crate, although she whines for a bit but quickly settles down. She is potty trained as we haven’t had any accidents in the house or crate. She is big and small dog friendly. She is also good with children but hasn’t been cat tested yet. Livy is super playful but will also come to cuddle up with you on the couch. She loves to be around her people, so be prepared to have a new shadow.
