Beto has arrived to my home in stuarts draft va. He is so sweet, but is full of energy. He loves playing with my grandkids. He also loves carrying a red ball around. He doesn't like going into the crate but will for a treat. He rides very well in the car. He is still settling in so I will update more when I get to know him. Beto update: he is a total sweetheart to those he considers his pack. He seems to do better with female dogs. He loves playing with my grandkids. Beto carries around a red ball everywhere. So I have been using that to my advantage and teaching him. He knows sit, down, and ball. I am muzzle training him because he does have a bite history. And that was completely my fault. I took him out to fast. We went camping and a guy came up to beto and tried to pet him. Beto lunged and the guy jerked his hand away but Beto's tooth caught his arm. Thank God it wasn't bad. The guy did say he shouldn't have went up to him. I don't know if beto thought the guy was bad and caused my granddaughter to cry or what he was thinking. At the time my granddaughter had fell and hurt herself and was crying. He is very protective and watched them if they was playing away from him. He is an amazing dog and will need training. He is crate trained and Housebroken. No small dogs or cats. He does have a prey drive. He will definitely need a strong leader. With slow intros to male dogs is a must. He did great with my male foster I had but it took him a couple days. He will be neutered on Aug 1st.
