Bucky is a ~2 year old male GSD/Mal mix. He is very friendly toward people and dogs. He is young and still has puppy energy, and would do well with an active family or doggy sibling. ✅ great in the car ✅ great with new people ✅ great with dogs - submissive, playful personality ✅ great with our cat - not much interest and redirects easily. (Dogs are way more fun, and people give scritches!) ✅ house trained, quiet in the crate ✅ learned to sit in about 5 minutes - very food motivated ✅ not vocal, but will bark when you have a visitor or delivery, and sings with sirens! ✅ LOVES butt scritches and all kinds of toys. ✅ settles down fairly quickly on walks; he pulls when excited, but we’re working on it. Doesn’t bark at people or dogs we pass
Bucky was rescued from a high kill shelter in Texas. He arrived to his Virginia foster on May 6th. Check back soon for updates.
