Learn more about the German Shepherd Dog.
Hazelnut was rescued from a high kill shelter in Texas. She is heartworm positive and will be treated at SSR's expense. She arrived to the Virginia area on May 6th and is currently awaiting an adopter. She is a gorgeous sweetheart who needs to gain a little bit of weight. She does well in the car and plays well with her foster sister. She is housebroken and crate trained. She will sleep through the night and does well home alone during that day while foster mom is at work. She enjoys curling up in a ball and sitting next to her foster mom and foster sister. When on walks she is good on a leash and walks at a leisurely pace. She would be a great addition to any home. Please contract your caseworker, if interested.
