Abbie is settling in well in her foster home. She's a very sweet, relatively calm dog. She seems to be potty trained so far. Abbie gets along well with the other dogs in the house. She is cautious of new things at first but adjusts rather quickly. She's still working on adjusting to crate training but it's improving by the day. She is friendly towards all people including kids.
Mama Apple and her six puppies Angel, Amber, Alamo, Axel, Alvin, and Abbie were transferred from a partner rescue in Texas. Apple was left tied to a chain and the owners threatened to dump them all in a field if SSR didn't take them. They will be traveling to the Virginia area on May 6th and, as long as they appear healthy, will be coming to the event on May 7th.
