Marble was rescued from a high kill shelter in Texas. He is heartwork positive, but will be treated at SSR's expense. Marble arrived to his Massachusetts foster on April 14th, so look for an update soon. Update: Are you looking for the perfect gentleman? Look no further. Marble is wonderful with everyone and everything. He makes instant friends with men, women, and kids. He loves to play with other dogs, both young and old. He is currently fostering with a high-energy SSR alumni. Although his back end is a little weak, he keeps up and does not mind being pounced on! He gets himself up and down stairs well, and can climb onto a couch like no other. He is happy to chill on the couch on his own or cuddle up next to you soaking up all the affection you can spare. Just an easy going guy! He is house trained and crate trained, although he is fine left alone out of the crate. Great on a leash and knows basic commands- ie: sit, paw, etc. He's an older guy so he will not require a ton of activity. Unless you want to climb mountains with your dog, he's really a perfect fit for any home. Marble is an absolute love and can't wait to be your new best friend.
