Miss Bella is looking for a home where she can be an only dog. Bella has lived with dogs in the past and very much wants to play with the other dogs in her foster home, but even though she is not dog agressive, it has landed her in doggie jail twice. Bella is very protective towards her human and, in both of her bite incidents with other dogs, she could have been preceiving a threat or jealousy to her person. She also does not like dogs that are jumpy in her face. Because Bella has multiple dog bite incidenets, she cannot be adopted to a home with another dog or any other pets. Bella's adopters must not plan to take her to dog parks or doggie daycare. When taking Bella on walks, they must ensure off leash dogs do not charge her.
Bella is very smart and affectionate and loves to play fetch. She is house broken and crate trained, however, she does not need her crate. Bella does well when left home alone. She has met children (15 months and 4 years) and did well, but was overly excited. She has been professionally trained in the past by Off Leash K9 and knows lots of cool tricks. Bella enjoys walks, being outdoors, and watching TV on the sofa.
Bella was rescued from a local Virginia animal shelter and arrived to her foster on March 21st.
