Update: 3/31/22 Fisher is truly the sweetest puppy. He's a little shy at first but loves pets on his head and gives a lot of kisses. He is very good natured and loves his belly rubs! But watch out he has a very mischievous side to him too. He is always taking off with my shoes. Fisher loves toys especially the squeaky ones. He also loves to play with his sister Fallyn and they rough house all over the yard. Fisher is great with other dogs and adores the resident German Shepherd and always engages him in play. He is super smart and is food motivated so training him is a breeze. He already knows to sit for treats and is working on the come and stay commands but should have this down soon. Fisher is not cat friendly at the moment and does have prey instinct so probably would be best in a home without cats. Perhaps with more exposure and training this may change. Fisher loves kids especially when they are playing soccer or volleyball. He wants to play too and often goes after loose balls. Fisher would do best in a home with a resident dog that he can bond and play with. He needs a buddy! He would also love a home with an active family that can put in the time to train him and exercise him properly. Fisher is a gem of a dog and will make a great family pet for the right family. Fallyn and Fisher were transferred from a partner rescue in Texas. They arrvied to their foster in Virginia on March 19th.
