Beans arrived to his foster home on 4/29/22. Since then, we have discovered that he is crate trained and mostly housebroken. He tries to mark occasionally and we are working on that. He corrects very easily, is very friendly with men and women but shy at first. He warms up quickly though. He is quiet and goofy. He is great with our male and female dogs and will be tested with the resident cats soon though he passed a cat test in Texas. He definitely has some husky mannerisms and I believe thats where his goofy personality comes from. He did great on our first walk and learned how to do loose leash walking with a 2.25mm herm sprenger. He's wonderful in the car as well. He is neutered and heartworm positive. The heartworms will be treated via the slow kill method at SSR's expense. 5/4 Update: Beans has tentatively passed his cat test. He gets some nervous excitement and wants to see what they're doing but is gentle when he gets close. It is possible though that as he gets more comfortable, he will try to chase if they run so any cats in the adoptive home will need safe spaces to escape to.
