Pupdate: Brody finally has a foster and his fomom is determined to make sure this sweet, beautiful dog never ends up in a shelter again! Brody is potty trained, crate trained, dog friendly and an absolute LOVE BUG with all people. He is a little nervous right now and will have a little tinkle pee when he gets scared but fomom thinks that will resolve with time, love and confidence. He is very gentle when taking food from the hand and all this boy wants is love and attention. He will be cat tested soon and can be kid tested if needed. He was heartworm negative in March 2022 but will need to be retested in 6 months. He walks well on a prong collar but will pull on a slip lead or martingale. His fomom will work on some leash manners after he has had time to decompress. This dog is a gem! 4/7/22: Brody passed his cat test and has been very good with the foster moms 3 cats. Brody needs a human to rescue him as he's been let down by them too many times. He came to SSR from a high kill shelter in Texas. He's ended up there twice, once recently and the first time in 2019! Now he's made it out of Texas only to find himself in boarding here in Virgnia since March 19th.
