Since Salem has arrived at his foster home in MD, we have discovered that he loves to play with the resident dogs and so far has been good with cats and kids. He is crate trained, potty trained, walks ok on a leash but needs some training and he is very smart and impressionable (he picks up on everything good and bad that the resident dogs do). He is very sweet and affectionate and will give LOTS of kisses so have your hand soap ready! He would do best in a home with another young, playful dog. He needs to be entertained constantly or will become destructive. He will need to be crated when unsupervised to deter any destructive behaviors.
Sir Jake and Salem were found as strays in Texas in the exact same place as Serenity and Skylar, so we believe them all to be litter mates who were dumped.
