Manja was rescued from a shelter in Texas. They said about him "Manja is a bit older, we’re estimating 8-10 years young, but he still has plenty of pep in his step for an older fella. I have given him the nickname ‘Wise Wizard’ because he is mature, so very intelligent, and just has a ‘wizard-y’ vibe! Manja is lower energy, walks well on the leash and is easy to handle, non reactive to other dogs, and LOVES meeting people. He knows sit and learning wait when treats are involved. When taking treats, he likes to put his whole mouth on your hand, but is extra gentle about it and just leaves you with a slobbery hand. I cannot say for certain if he is potty trained. However, he does like to keep his kennel clean and will hold it a long time waiting to get outside to relieve himself! We haven’t noticed any marking behavior either, which is always a concern with people adopting male dogs. Unfortunately, we have not had the chance to do a meet greet and with him and other dogs. However, he has shown ZERO negativity towards other dogs while on walks, next to one in a play yard with chain link fencing, or while walking him to and from his kennel.” He should come to the Virginia area hopefully around March.
