Despite being on three legs, Daisy is willing to bet she can outrun you, even on your best day. This super affectionate tripod is looking for a family of her own. She loves car rides, pup cups, going for walks, and hangin out on the couch with her toys. Daisy is house trained, crate trained, does well on a leash and can follow simple commands. Cat tested and passed!
She has no problem sleeping through the night, as long as she can have a toy to snuggle with. She doesn’t love sleeping in her crate, and would much rather be on her dog bed in the same room as her human. Daisy gets really nervous around men. She will either hide, or bark. She will eventually warm up, but it’ll take some time. We’re working on this.
She’s about to celebrate her first birthday soon and her wish this year is to find her forever home, and maybe a few treats.
Daisy was rescued as a result of an injury. While trying to escape from her outside pen, she got caught up in some fencing. This wrapped string tightly around her ankle and she was left untreated from 5 days. As a result, her back leg was amputated. She’s all healed up and her transition to tripod life has been stellar!
