One thing we can say about Vanessa? She makes life interesting! Vanessa, or Big Ole Preggo, was rescued from a kill shelter in Texas along with her companion Efron. She was heavily pregnant and, even though the vet guessed she had another week of pregnancy left, she giggled to herself and said "Ha, watch this!" She proceeded to have her 8 puppies in the back of the transport van on her way from Texas to Virginia. Thanks to our amazing volunteers who were with her, both she and her puppies are just fine and currently with their foster in West Virginia.
