He has average energy for his age, is a bit of a shadow dog and does not like to loose sight of his human or dog friends
He has a soft short coat, and likes his belly rubbed.
He is good with our resident 14 month old SSR dog and they both enjoy playing with each other.
He is kid friendly but he does show a propensity to jumping and pawing a lot when excited.
He is cat friendly, and has tested fine with both our cats, neither of which are dog fans. He does try to engage them in play, but stops when told to by cats.
He has a very high food drive. He has learned to control his food desires enough to sit for kibble. Finding a dog food he likes or needing high value treats for training will not be an issue. We think he will train very well with food rewards and bond strongly with hand feedings. He has shown some signs of food guarding towards our dog but not towards people.
We’re still working on house training but he is making a little progress every day. He has shown he can hold it for an extended periods of time in the crate, and on multiple occasions for an entire night.
He is getting better every night at calming down in his crate, and he remains calm until he needs to go to bathroom
