Caramel was rescued from a high kill shelter in Texas. She is heartworm positive and will be treated at SSR's expense. She passed our cat test in Texas. Caramel is a sweet and quiet dog who is friendly without being overwhelming. She is very gentle. She has come to SSR with some health issues to overcome. Her hair coat is sparse, she is heartworm positive, and still needs to be spayed. I believe she is likely a bit older than her vet paperwork indicates, perhaps 2-3 years. She is fostered near Hagerstown, MD. Contact your caseworker if you would like to come meet her.
