Hanes received his namesake because, well, he likes to eat Hanes...or more specifically ladies pantyhose! He was surrendered by his owner in Texas to an ER vet becasue they could not afford the surgery to save his life. This was the second time Hanes had helped himself to something that required surgery to remove.
