Rex was found as stray in Texas. He is very sweet and gets along with dogs, kids and cats. He is a shy timid boy who takes a little time to warm up but when he does he loves to get attention from his humans. Because he is so shy and timid he would do best with dogs that are calmer and will give him the time and space he will need to settle in his new home. He loves kids and his tail doesn't stop wagging but he would do best with kids who were taught to respect dogs and not be overwhelming to him. He was good with my cats and basically ignored them but my cats are dog savvy and basically ignore dogs so I would say slow introductions with cats. Rex is not a very active dog. He likes to run and play but then he is content laying on his dog bed. He is heartworm positive and is currently being treated. SSR pays for all the treatments.
